Privacy Policy
This policy describes the Little Mimics website and its browser demo. We keep the demo simple: you can play without creating an account, providing personal details, or signing in.
1. Information used by the demo
The browser demo runs on your device. Selected friends, lessons, tool positions, and level progress stay in the current page’s memory. This website does not send gameplay records to an application server or save them in cookies or local storage. Reloading the page starts a fresh demo.
2. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand website visits and improve the experience. The Google tag may collect page views, navigation and interaction events, referral information, and technical information about your browser and device. Google processes this information to provide website usage reports.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, such as _gaand _ga_*, to distinguish visitors and sessions. Cookie behavior depends on browser controls and the Analytics configuration. The website does not display advertisements or require an account. Fonts, artwork, and game audio are served with the website. Audio plays only when you enable it. The demo’s puzzle state remains in page memory; we do not add custom Analytics events containing your lesson choices, tool positions, or level progress.
3. Website delivery and technical information
When you visit any website, your browser sends technical information needed to deliver it, including an IP address, the requested page, and browser information. A hosting provider may process this information and keep access or security logs to operate and protect the website. The website application does not create its own visitor database. The provider and any log retention period depend on the hosting configuration used when the website is deployed.
4. External links and the iPhone app
Little Mimics has not yet been released on the App Store. Download buttons currently lead to an internal coming-soon page. After release, those buttons may link to Apple’s App Store, where Apple’s own privacy practices and terms apply.
This policy covers the website only. The native iPhone app’s optional Apple sign-in, CloudKit synchronization, and purchases are separate features and will be described in the app’s release privacy disclosures.
5. Children and personal information
The website does not ask visitors, including children, to submit personal information. Do not send personal details through unrelated public channels to obtain help with the demo. If you believe information about a child has been collected through this website, please contact us at [email protected].
6. Your choices
You can stop the demo, mute audio, or close the page at any time. Refreshing or closing the page clears the in-memory demo state. You may also use browser controls to block requests or delete browser-managed cache data, and adjust cookie and tracking settings to restrict Analytics requests and cookies. Clearing demo state does not delete information already processed by Google Analytics.
7. Changes and privacy questions
We may revise this policy if the website’s features or hosting arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
